THE BUDGET HEARING MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE SOUTH COOK COUNTY
MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT
HELD MONDAY AUGUST 14, 2023

A Budget Hearing Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the South Cook County Mosquito Abatement District was called to order by President Charles Givines at the District’s Headquarter, 15500 Dixie Highway, Harvey, Illinois on August 14, 2023 at 4:15 P.M. upon due notice to all members of the time, date, and place of the meeting.

The meeting was opened by the President, whereupon the Budget Hearing for the Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 was presented to the SCCMAD Board of Trustees.

Trustee Dr. Ray Warner made the Board aware of certain area within the Budget that needed to be edited. Language and certain dates needed to change in Sections 1 and 2. The Board also discussed removing the ‘Step Increase’ line item from the Budget for Fiscal Year 2023-2024.

Attorney Meganne Trela mentioned to the Board that the language and dates could be fixed during the meeting to make available for approval during the regular meeting.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
